Mrs. Denise Dunning has been a Veterans Benefits Administration employee since 2008. She is currently assigned as a Program Analyst for VBA’s Office of Enterprise Risk Management.
Prior to joining the Office of Enterprise Risk Management in January 2019 she spent a year on Capitol Hill working as a Legislative Fellow representing the Department of Veterans Affairs in the office of Congressman Sanford D. Bishop Jr. She served as a personal advisor to Congressman Bishop.
Mrs. Dunning has a strong background in VA benefits she served as a Legal Administrative Specialist, Veterans Service Representative, and as a Rating Veterans Service Representative while assigned to the Phoenix Regional Office from 2008-2014.
Mrs. Dunning served as a proud member of the 175th Fighter Wing in Maryland and the 161st Air Refueling Wing, Arizona Air National Guard. She retired after in October 2019 after serving 20 years as a Personnel Specialist.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Spanish and communications from Arizona State University. She enjoys traveling and a good home cooked meal with a glass of wine. She lives in Falls Church, Virginia and enjoys spending time with her spouse and son.
