2023 AFERM Summit Potential Government Shutdown & Refund Policy
At present, the federal government’s continuing resolution expires on November 17, 2023. The Summit will proceed as planned, if a budget is enacted or an additional continuing resolution is approved that expires after November 29, 2023.
If a government shutdown occurs or a continuing resolution is enacted that does not extend through November 29, 2023, AFERM will work with the Convention Center to reschedule the Summit for early 2024. After the Summit is rescheduled, full refunds will be issued, upon request, for those who pre-registered for the November 2023 Summit but cannot attend on the new dates. Those who register after the Summit has been postponed will be granted refunds consistent with the established AFERM policy.
2023 AFERM Summit Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refunds, less a $100 processing fee per registrant, will be granted for requests received in writing to email@example.com by November 15, 2023. Refunds will not be granted after this date. No-shows are responsible for full payment.
As long as the Summit takes place as planned, AFERM is not responsible for registrants being unable to attend the Summit for any reason and is therefore unable to issue refunds.
Any questions regarding refunds can be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
