Bonita Mannings

Bonita ManningsBonita Mannings is a Personnel Psychologist and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advocate at the Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM).  In this role, Bonita served as the Curriculum Director for the Leadership and Relationship Curriculum, as well at the Diversity and Inclusion Curriculum for five years. Additionally, she serves as an Executive Coach and mentor.  Bonita also works collaboratively with her colleagues on various organizational development programs and tools.

Bonita came to CVM from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Bonita served as a Talent Management Consultant where she developed talent management processes to include succession management, workforce planning, employee training and development.  During her career, Bonita also worked with Maryland state government in the Department of Budget and Management’s Recruitment and Examination Division leading the statewide force planning efforts.

Bonita holds a Master’s degree from John Hopkins University in Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She is also presently working on her Juris Doctorate at the University of Maryland.
