Angela Patel leads the enterprise risk management program at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Her teams drive the adoption and optimization of cross-organizational mechanisms that ensure AWS continues to make informed, risk-informed decisions and build, innovate, and scale at pace. Her focus is sustaining a culture of risk transparency that empowers employees to generate and protect value for AWS’s customers, employees, and partners.
Angela has held various governance, risk, compliance, and audit roles primarily in the real estate and financial services industries. She has also worked in management consulting, advising clients in a variety of markets and sectors globally. Angela as a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Georgetown University.
