A highly qualified and experienced risk management executive, Soumya Chakraverty is the president and managing consultant of Risk Pro Solutions, an advisory firm that performs business consulting in the areas of enterprise, operational and technology risk management within public and commercial sectors. Soumya has held senior level risk positions within the banking and financial services industry. He has led integrated risk management and GRC implementations at several leading financial institutions. As a member of the senior leadership team, he has often implemented several strategic initiatives to enhance the risk management and reporting maturity, establish frameworks for enterprise risk management (ERM) risk identification and assessment, risk profile reporting, and the development of risk and control governance. With over 15 years in Big 4 consulting firms, he has led engagements in the areas of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Enterprise Risk, IT risk advisory and assurance, implementation of risk and compliance data analytics, and continuous monitoring. He is a past Board member of AFERM and remains active in contributing to several professional organizations such as AFERM, AGA and ISACA through thought leadership content and speaking engagements.
