This event is hosted by the University of Maryland and provided here for informational purposes. AFERM is not a sponsor of this event.

In this inaugural webinar series for federal risk managers, Maryland Smith’s Dr. Clifford Rossi will interview Gregory Keith, the Chief Risk Officer of Ginnie Mae. Ginnie Mae is one of the major market participants in the secondary market for federally insured mortgage-backed securities and in that process is exposed to a number of risk issues. The rapid impacts to the national economy, widespread work from home orders and government policy arising from the COVID-19 pandemic have altered the way that credit, operational and cyber risk have to be managed.  Join us as we hear how Ginnie Mae is adapting its risk management activities to address the asymmetric challenges that the COVID-19 global pandemic has brought, as well as some of the creative program enhancements that were required to be stood up in the days following the pandemic’s rise.
