As federal agencies’ ERM programs mature, technology enablement becomes a key focus area. To ensure a successful implementation and adoption of the technology, it is important for federal ERM leaders to have a clear plan and strategy, taking into consideration key risk factors and impediments. Without establishing the right use cases, purpose and context for the ERM/GRC technology solution, and lacking an understanding of how the solution fits into the organization technologically and culturally, can lead to a siloed solution that does not integrate with other risk management platforms and fails to produce expected benefits.
In this one-hour presentation, the speakers discuss key considerations for technology enablement of ERM for pre-implementation, during implementation and post-implementation phases, including key lessons learned from prior implementations and best practices.
About the Presenters
Soumya Chakraverty
Soumya is a Managing Consultant of Risk Pro Solutions. He specializes in integrated risk management and GRC, encompassing enterprise, operational and technology risks and controls. He has extensive experience in banking and financial services and public sector. He provides strategic consulting to organizational leaders to help enhance risk maturity and improve compliance. He is also a Board member for the Association for Federal ERM (AFERM). Kevin Schreck
Kevin Schreck is the CEO of Elevate Government Solutions. He’s a career technologist having spent time at organizations such as Northrop Grumman and Microsoft. He has worked with both Public Sector and Private Sector clients and understands first hand the challenges of integrating technology to solve problems.
