Due to the continuing partial government shutdown affecting many of AFERM’s members, AFERM will be postponing the January 10th networking event to February 13th. All tickets purchased for the January 10th event will be automatically applied to the February 13th event. Information regarding the topic and speaker for the new event date will be announced shortly.

This event will feature a panel and open discussion with attendees on ERM related takeaways and implications from the recent partial government shutdown. The discussion will cover such topics as:
  • What has been the impact of the shutdown on agency risk profiles?
  • What actions are agencies taking or planning to mitigate some of the risks related to the recent shutdown and the threat of future shutdowns?
  • How can ERM help agencies be more resilient in the face of potential government shutdowns and other disruptions to operations?

The panel discussion will be followed by a networking reception with refreshments provided. Tickets are $5 for AFERM Members and $10 for Non-Members.
