AFERM October Luncheon in Atlanta, GA

We hope AFERM members and others interested in enterprise risk management (ERM) that are in the Atlanta area will join us on October 16^th at Pricci Restaurant in Atlanta, GA for AFERM’s first ever Atlanta, GA event. The event will provide the opportunity to network and enjoy lunch with other ERM professionals in the Atlanta area and will feature a presentation on ERM by Derrick Sturisky.

Derrick is Head of Risk Management and Business Continuity at Shire, a global pharmaceutical organization, with nearly 24,000 employees in over 65 countries and therapies available in more than 100 countries. Derrick’s role is to lead enterprise risk, compliance, and business continuity initiatives across Shire’s franchises, business units, and corporate functions.

Prior to joining Shire, Derrick spent over 20 years in various Management Consulting leadership roles, most recently with PwC, serving his clients in IT, risk, and compliance-related areas.

Derrick is a frequent author and speaker on risk management and is an active member of the World Affairs Council of Atlanta.

Derrick received his BS in Computer Science from The University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). Derrick has been designated as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and holds various other certifications in SAP, Six Sigma, Professional Training, and Project Management.

Lunch will be provided. 1 CPE will be awarded for attendance.
