This event will feature a panel and open discussion with attendees on ERM related takeaways and implications from the recent partial government shutdown. The panel discussion will be moderated by Tom Brandt with participation on the panel from Karen Hardy, Alice Miller, and Doug Webster. The discussion will cover such topics as:

  • How can ERM help agencies be more resilient in the face of potential government shutdowns and other disruptions to operations?
  • What actions can agencies take to mitigate some of the risks related to the recent shutdown and the threat of future shutdowns?
  • How might the shutdown impact agency risk profiles?

The panel discussion will be followed by a networking reception with refreshments provided. Tickets are $5 for AFERM Members and $10 for Non-Members.
