Renata Maziarz

Renata MaziarzRenata Maziarz is a Senior at Workiva. Previous to joining Workiva, Renata served as the acting Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Data at the U.S. Department of Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service where she oversaw a full range of policy, management, and operational activities related to federal financial data and analytics. Specifically, Renata led the enterprise data strategy with the goal of increasing the value and availability of federal financial data to advance sound decision-making and insights. In addition, Renata played a key role in leading the government-wide implementation of first federal open data law, the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014 (DATA Act) as well as the re-launch of USAspending.gov, which provides American taxpayers with more transparency into $4 trillion of annual Federal spending. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Providence College and a Masters in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
