Marcus Melton is a director in KPMG’s Federal Advisory practice and has over 20 years of experience working with Federal and local government. Mr. Melton is currently directing multiple projects for the Government National Mortgage Administration (Ginnie Mae), and HUD. Mr. Melton has managed attestation engagements, A-123 advisory engagements, and provided project and program management advisory services for both civilian and DOD clients.
KPMG’s ERM team, led by Mr. Melton, is assisting HUD in developing and implementing the strategy to meet the new ERM requirements prescribed in OMB Circular A-123 to include the fraud risk management requirements. The scope encompasses a broad range of activities throughout the risk management lifecycle to address all types and levels of risk that have the potential to impact HUD’s ability to execute its missions and meet the OMB requirements.
