State and Local ERM Outreach Committee

Monday, November 11, 2024   (0 Comments)

The State and Local ERM Outreach Committee has spent a year actively fostering connections and advancing ERM education and professional development among federal, state, and local government entities. As it continues this work, the Committee remains interested in creating an inclusive environment for exchanging ideas, sharing effective practices, and discussing shared experiences to benefit all government ERM practitioners.

The Committee facilitates connections between federal, state, and local government entities to share best practices, promote engagement, and expand educational opportunities. By establishing new networks across all public entities with a critical need for risk management, the Committee helps demonstrate the true value of ERM for every level of government. Federal practitioners contribute seasoned experience, while state and local practitioners bring innovative, agile approaches that can benefit federal entities. These cross-level dialogues deepen participants’ understanding and enhance awareness of diverse ERM practices and approaches.

If you arere interested in ERM or currently run a program at the state or local level, we invite you to connect with us and join the State and Local Outreach Group. Our mission is to unite ERM professionals across all levels of government, no matter where you are on your ERM journey.
