Valerie Lubrano

Valerie Lubrano is a Manager in the Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. She has over 10 years of experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including 3 years transforming Enterprise Risk Management capabilities in the federal government. Valerie provides deep quantitative analysis skills along with qualitative leadership and facilitation skills, developed through her work in investment management, change management, and process improvement. She leads the ERM Small Agency Community of Practice for the Association for Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM).

Valerie has the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from The Institutes. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy with specialization in International Security and Economic Policy from the School of Public Policy, both at the University of Maryland, College Park. Valerie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.
